millwork + paper

Four images of various millwork projects under construction

February 6, 2015

Several of the millwork projects previewed on this post were remodel projects. We spend a good deal of time travelling the country in a Class B Motorhome built in 2000. After many long trips, we decided to upgrade a few pieces of the interior millwork to allow for a mobile home-office space as well as an additional seat and expanded space around the kitchen area. I also included a new page highlighting the hand-made business cards for Zutale Design. Aligning a double-sided graphic business card on custom recycled paper proved to be too difficult for several local printers.

Below are links to the PDF files previewing each of the projects. Enjoy, and thanks again for visiting!

Rest in Peace Darrell J Kent

It's hard to say goodbye to good friends. It's even harder to not have the chance to say goodbye. Darrell and I worked together on the UNC Bell Tower Development in Chapel Hill for almost two years. While in the field, you meet people who really know what they are doing and people who pretend like they know what they are doing. Darrell knew way more than I could imagine, so I spent as much time as I could learning from a seasoned professional. Fortunately for me, Darrell and I had some free time to get to know each other outside of the jobsite. This picture above was taken while driving along the highway in NC heading to a whiskey festival. I am thankful for the memories I have of the times we spent together and I hope you are smiling where you are Darrell.
